The Panorama School Board met in regular session Monday night.

Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that the meeting started with discussion on some upcoming dates for the district, including early outs on October 12th and 19th, days with no school for district professional development on October 27th and November 10th, and an early out for elementary parent teacher conferences November 8th and 9th. He also encourages people to support their candidate for school board next month.

“You know, we have school board elections coming up. We have quite the number of school board candidates, and so we are looking at November 7th. So we want everyone to get out and vote for their districts. We have about eight people running for school board for four spots, just because as we redistrict, that opened up some additional districts for reelection. So we would just want people to get out and vote. To vote for their person that’s going to be their voice on our school board.”

Huebner shares that the Board also approved the 2022-23 Special Education Deficit, and a revision to Board Policy 603.7R1.
