The Forest Park Museum will host a program that addresses a well known writer.
The Museum Curator Peter Malmberg will take a look at Warren Allen Smith’s life as a famous writer and businessman from Minburn, Iowa. Smith was a World War Two veteran and outspoken about human and gay rights during that time. His fame was largely due to his journalism, which focused on humanist issues. The museum has a collection of many of his artifacts. The program will be free and open to the public from 1:30 to 2:30pm on Sunday at the Forest Park Museum.
