The ADM Tigers are back at home tonight, to play the Ballard Bombers in what could be a physical game for the Tigers. The Bombers bring a spread offense to the field, which means they have the ability to both run and pass. Their running back, Eli Rouse, has ran for 845 rushing yards and scoring 10 touchdowns. In the passing game, the Bombers have three deep-threat receivers, including Chance Lande with 257 yards and 2 touchdowns, Jude Gibson with 110 yards, and Eric Sydnes, who is just shy of reaching 100 yards himself.

Ballard utilizes their size to their advantage, making them a formidable physical presence on the field. This game against the Bombers may prove to be one of the most physically demanding challenges the Tigers face this season.

In the words of Head Coach Randy Schrader,

“I think we’re getting into that now where most teams are spread teams, and for at least the next three weeks, they’re pretty much mirror images of everybody’s, with a little bit of different tweak to it. But yeah, I think that scheme-wise, there’s not much difference. So for us, they run probably a little bit more counter than we do offensively, and they’ve got a little bit of an option, but yeah, it’s kind of a mirror thing, I think. I mean, you just got to find your best play, what’s your go-to play, and just try and take that away from them.”

As the Tigers prepare to take on the Ballard Bombers, it’s clear that they are heading into a game that will test their physicality. It’s a matchup that will require them to bring their best and adapt to the challenges posed by their opponent’s versatile offense. Using their speed and strength to limit the Bombers offense and defensive.
