28985 Thin Blue Line Lane, Adel, Iowa  50003

September 28

Daniel Hall, Valparaiso, IN, was stopped at the intersection of U Ave and 240th St, when his car was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Fernando Ramirez, Ankeny.  No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Hall’s vehicle was estimated at $500.  Damage to Mr. Ramirez vehicle was estimated at $1000.  Mr. Ramirez was cited for Following Too Close.

While the Deputy was clearing the above accident, another accident occurred at the same location.  Tyler Hinrichs, Grimes, was stopped for a vehicle that was waiting to turn onto U Ave when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Christopher Paglia, Grimes.  No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Hinrichs vehicle was estimated at $500.  Mr. Paglia had no damage to his vehicle.  Mr. Paglia was issued citations for Failure To provide Proof Of Financial Liability and Failure To Stop In A Clear Assured Distance.

Lance Shultz, age 39, 1617 2nd St, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Public Intoxication.

Kristopher Swihart, age 44, 1011 NW 37th St, Ankeny, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.

Keith E. Murphy, age 55, 905 Lyndale Dr, Polk City, was arrested in Redfield for Possession Of Controlled Substance.

Sept. 29

Kenneth Needham, Omaha, was driving on Upland Ave and while attempting to turn onto 140th St, he lost control and rolled the vehicle into the ditch.  No injuries were reported and damage to mr. Needham’s vehicle was estimated at $10000.  The vehicle was privately towed.
