Dallas Center-Grimes boys cross country steps on the pedal and wins a tough race on Thursday.

The Mustangs traveled to Altoona to participate in the Southeast Polk Invitational in which they won with a score of 27 points, and an average race time of just a few seconds under 16 minutes.  Senior Jack Every led the team as he placed second with a time of 16 minutes and 30 seconds, junior Alias Arbuckle finished third, sophomore Colin Mandernach placed fourth and both freshman Graham Ibeling and sophomre Cael Ramsey  finished in the top 10.

Now their next race will be at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course on October 5th.

Varsity got after it tonight at SE Polk, picking up the W – 27 pts!
