8:05am: Alicia Hawkins 33 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for failure to appear.
9:02am: A deputy investigated a complaint of two found dogs that were dead in the ditch 240th Street and Quint Avenue. The dogs were found to have been properly euthanized by a veterinarian. The owner Jonathan Forker 47 of Scranton disposed of the bodies at the location. Jonathan is being charged with failure of his duty to dispose of animal bodies. Arrest warrants have been requested.
2:48pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 700 block of Brentwood Avenue.
7:22pm: A deputy investigated an assault in the 400 block of Hill Street, Churdan.
10:06pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near L Avenue.
Wednesday, September 27th
12:24am: Jay Wenger 35 of Scranton was booked into the jail for a Boone County arrest warrant for a probation violation.
6:25am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 170th Street near N Avenue.
4:23pm: A deputy investigated a phone scam on 130th Street near U Avenue.
5:55pm: A deputy investigated a 911 hang up in the 100 block of 250th Street.
5:57pm: A deputy arrested James Pena 25 of Jefferson in the 600 block of West Monroe Street, Jefferson. Pena had an arrest warrant for failure to appear.
6:45pm: James Pena 25 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for failure to appear.
9:21pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest on North Maple Street and West State Street. Christopher Lawrence 43 of Jefferson was arrested for operating while under the influence 1st offense, possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Audrie Lawrence 23 of Jefferson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense 2 counts, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thursday, September 28th
1:57am: Christopher Lawrence 43 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating while under the influence 1st offense.
2:59am: Audrie Lawrence 23 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession of a
controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense 2 counts, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
