Both Perry boys and girls cross country teams will be back in action this upcoming Thursday in the Leon Fox Invite at Perry Golf and Country Club. Both teams competed in the AC/GC Charger Invitational last Thursday night at AC/GC High School. Both the boys and girls finished in 5th place respectively in each race. Freshman Lilly Myers led the way for the girls for Perry as she finished 5th place overall with a time of 22:20. Taryn Nehring was next up as she came in 18th place overall. She finished her 5k in a time of 23:50. Cate Erickson wasn’t too far behind as she finished with a 24:30.

On the boys side of things, Yonas Andemichael came in 3rd place overall for the Bluejays as he finished with a 5k time of 18:15. Thad Stewart was the next guy down the line as he finished with a time of 20:17 placing him in 23rd place overall. Maebel Tekle wasn’t too far behind as he finished with a time of 20:33.

It was a solid race for both the boys and girls.  The gun is scheduled to go off at 5 PM on Thursday at Perry Golf and Country Club. I will provide results after the meet like always here on KDLS and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
