The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce celebrated a new addition to the community

They cut the ribbon cutting for Matt and Mica Roundcount who are the owners of Uptown Vintage Market located in Kinnick Drive. They provide a variety of antique, vintage, home decor items. Matt Roundcount said that he started collecting antique items as a hobby then it turned into a labor of love. 

“It started 10 or 12 years ago as a hobby, making stuff with license plates and that kind of took off and had a lot of fun with that and started going to auctions to find more license plates and end up buying other stuff and just kind of snowballed into doing vintage shows and had a couple other storefronts back in Illinois and moved up here and wanted to open something for the last four years and kind of finally took the the plunge and did it.

Matt Roundcount said he was grateful for the community embracing his business. The Uptown Vintage Market is open Tuesdays from 4 to 7pm, Fridays from 11 to 3pm and Saturdays from 11 to 9pm in September.
