The Jayettes went 2-3 overall as they participated in the AC/GC volleyball invite on Saturday at AC/GC High School. Perry lost their first matchup of the tournament to the AC/GC Chargers 2-0. The Chargers won the first set 21-7 as well as the second one 21-13. The Jayettes then fell to Nodaway Valley 2-0 in the second match of the afternoon as well. Nodaway Valley won the first set 21-8. Perry would make it an exciting second set as they were battling with Nodaway Valley, but eventually fell short 21-16. The Jayettes then bounced back strongly as they defeated the Madrid Tigers 2-0. Perry won the first set 21-15, followed by the second 21-13. They then defeated Colfax-Mingo 2-1, but fell to Glidden-Ralston in a pool play matchup 2-1.

The Jayettes finished the tournament with a 5-12 record. They will be back at home this upcoming Thursday against South Hamilton.
