The AC/GC Chargers football team was on the road Friday night, and took on a tough opponent in the South Central Calhoun Titans.

Both teams were undefeated going into the game, with Chargers being ranked 7th in Class A, and the Titans ranked 10th. It was a lot of back and forth in the first quarter, and neither team scored. The Chargers were able to grab two scores in the second, and went into halftime up 14-7, but the Titans outscored Chargers by the same margins and tied things up at 21 going into the final quarter. AC/GC was able to put up 14 more points in the last quarter, and took the game in a 35-21 victory.

The Chargers remain undefeated, moving to 4-0 on the season, 3-0 in division play, while the Titans fall to 3-1, going 2-1 in division play. AC/GC will take a well deserved break over the weekend, then prepare for next Friday’s Homecoming game, when they host the Riverside Bulldogs.
