The West Central Valley girls cross country team participated in the Panorama Invitational on Thursday night. The meet consisted of Van Meter, Urbandale, Clarinda, Atlantic, Panorama, and Boyer Valley. Despite not placing in the team standings, the girls still had a solid outing in the race. Senior Taitlin Koch, who has been one of the leaders on the West Central Valley Cross Country team all season long, led the way again for the Wildcats as she finished the 5k in a time of 21:18:50. That finish placed her in 11th overall in the standings. The next Wildcat didn’t cross the finish line until the 25 minute mark. That was senior Alayna Cather who finished with a time of 25:33:50.

Next up for the Wildcats on their cross country season will be on Monday when they travel to Hillcrest Country Club for the ADM Tiger Invitational. The gun will go off at 4:30 on Monday. Like usual I will provide results after the race which you can find on our website at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
