All eligible Greene County voters are encouraged to exercise their right to vote by participating in today’s primary election.
County Auditor Jane Heun says all voters must declare a party affiliation in order to vote today. She points out that all the normal polling precincts are the same for this election with the exception of Jefferson Precinct #2 will be at Trinity Lutheran Church due to construction of the Public Health building at Greene County Medical Center.
The other polling places for Jefferson residents include the South Assembly Room in the courthouse for precinct #1 and precinct #3 is at the Greene County Community Center. The central part of the county must report to Clover Hall on the county fairgrounds. Northern county residents are to report to the Churdan Community Center, the eastern voters will be at Brigid’s Parish Center in Grand Junction and the west side will report to the new Scranton City Hall.
Heun points out that if a voter is physically unable to go to the polling place, then they can vote inside the voter’s vehicle.
