The annual meeting of the Guthrie Activity Center is coming up.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 6pm on September 18th, and the Activity Center Board of Directors decided to have a fun evening of card playing afterwards from 6:30-8pm. The building was donated to the community years ago, and a non-profit organization established to help run it. Many events are scheduled in the Activity Center each year, and the Board hopes to continue to see many events from the community to continue to make use of the building. The card playing is free and open to the public, with games like cribbage and euchre on the docket. There will also be a meal, and interested individuals may also bring their own alcoholic beverages should they wish to.
