The Jefferson City Council will meet Tuesday night.

There will be a closed session at 5pm before the open session for the regular meeting starts at 5:30pm. The closed session is in relation to negotiations with a private entity.

The regular meeting will start with an update about the Kading Properties housing project with Greene County Development Corporation East Business Park on Gallup Road. Then the Council will consider for approval the third and final reading to amend an ordinance for building permit fees to change anytime there is an update from the International Residential Code. They will also consider for approval a forgivable loan for Greene Bean Coffee for $70,000, a seventh pay estimate for the Wastewater Treatment Plant project, and hear about a pickleball project with the parks and recreation department. The Council will also set a public hearing for an update to the floodplain ordinance.  

Finally, the Council will consider for approval several recommendations from the planning and zoning commission to address in the zoning code for camper parking, recreational vehicles, boats, trail parking, zero lot line zoning, front yard setbacks for infill lots, and fence regulations.

The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
