ADM will have to pay close attention to several key players on the Lewis Central Titans’ roster if they want to secure a win. These players have been instrumental in the Titans’ performance this season:
Junior quarterback Brady Hetzel has been a reliable passer, completing 29 of 53 attempts for 384 yards and 2 touchdowns. He’s someone ADM’s defense should keep an eye on to prevent significant gains through the air.
Junior running back Chance Chappell has been a force on the ground, gaining 202 yards and scoring 1 touchdown on 29 carries. ADM will need to contain Chappell’s rushing abilities to limit the Titans’ ground game. Another contributor to the Titans offense is senior wide receiver Curtis Witte who happens to be a favored target for Hetzel, with 9 receptions for 178 yards and 1 touchdown. His ability to make catches to put points on the board is a matchup that defensive backs Rhylan Stine-Smith, Mason Vanorny, Zach Lohmann, and Talan Guile will have too keep lockdown as the Titans look to make big plays.
Defensively, senior Owen Thomas has made an impact with 14 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. ADM’s offense line will have to keep an eye on Thomas’s presence to minimize his disruption for the Tigers rushing and passing game.
These players’ contributions are significant, and ADM will need to factor them into their game plan to improve their chances of securing a win against the Lewis Central Titans.
