Iowa Auditor Rob Sand in Jefferson in 2022

A state elected official will be in Jefferson later this week.

State Auditor Rob Sand will host a public Townhall Tour at Washington Park in Jefferson on Friday at 8:45am. Sand will cover new legislation that impacts his office, as well as other new laws including the Student Education Accounts, and the expansion of his Public Innovations and Efficiencies (PIE) program that encourages governmental entities and school districts to develop creative ways to save tax dollars. 

This is Sand’s fifth Townhall Tour since taking office in 2019. This event is free and open to the public and no registration or reservations are necessary.
