The Panora Public Library has some fun events for everyone scheduled during September.
Library Director Kim Finnegan says that September is National Library Card Sign Up Month, and that they will be participating by entering names of those people who sign up for a card into a drawing for a $20 gift card to Crafty’s Coffee in Panora. She mentions that on September 27th there will be a new event, where kids from the community can come in and play bingo. Finnegan tells Raccoon Valley Radio there’s also a Personality Pumpkin Craft event for adults.
“So we’ll have different craft supplies, so you can kind of make your own. Pick out the supplies that you want here. You don’t need to bring anything with you, we’re providing the pumpkins and the supplies, so you can join us for that.”
Finnegan says the event will be on September 28th starting at 2pm, and that it is free to attend, but that they ask those interested to call ahead for a reservation so that they make sure they have enough supplies for everyone.
