Tomorrow one non-profit organization in Greene County will handle serving breakfast for a worthy cause.
The Grand Junction Lions Club is hosting its annual pancake breakfast fundraiser from 7:30-10am at the Lakeside Shelter at Spring Lake Park tomorrow. The free-will donation meal includes whole hog sausage, 7-Up pancakes, coffee, orange juice and milk while supplies last. All proceeds will go back to the non-profit organization for projects.
Lions Club member Terry Hoefle says they’ve used funds on several different areas, such as planting over 125 trees in Grand Junction for the past one and a half years, improving the lighting at the main shelter house at Spring Lake Park, as well as scholarships for graduating seniors and purchased new lounge chairs for the city swimming pool. Additionally, Hoefle says they will also accept any used eyeglasses as part of the Lions Club mission is to help youth with vision issues.
