The West Central Valley Wildcats football team will hit the gridiron for Week 2 action tonight against the Shenandoah Mustangs. The Wildcats are coming off their loss last week against their conference rival, the Panorama Panthers, 28-17. The Wildcats will look to get off to a faster start tonight as they started off slow against the Panthers last Friday night. Panorama led 21-14 at halftime. West Central Valley did cut the lead to 4 in the 3rd quarter as they trailed 21-17. The Panthers then put up the dagger touchdown in the 4th quarter to seal the 28-17 win.
The Wildcats will face a Shenandoah team tonight who also lost their first game last week to the Clarinda Cardinals 46-7. They will definitely look to get in the win column for the first time this season as well and will be hungry to do so against West Central Valley. The game will kick off at 7 PM at Mustang Field and Ray Graves Track. I will provide updates after the game right here on K 107.9 and on our website raccoonvalleyradio.com.
