Guthrie County Farm Bureau recently helped local food pantries, and in turn, the residents they serve.

Due to the spike in demand at local food banks, New Opportunities and Faith Bible Church both received donations of beef certificates, pork cash, and gift cards to local grocery stores to help feed Guthrie County residents. Guthrie County Farm Bureau says in a statement that with food pantries in rural areas seeing increased need while children are out of school for the summer, they are happy to assist in helping others in the community through the food pantry donations, and encourages others to donate as well.
