The Perry swim team will look to build on a solid first meet last Thursday when they head to Indianola tonight for their second meet of the season. Perry defeated Algona 105-59 in the opening Thursday night dual inside the McCreary Center pool. The Jayettes finished with 9 first place swimmers in the meet. The story of the night was Junior Quinn Mahler-Moreno who finished first in the 100 meter breaststroke with a time of 1:06:96. That qualified Mahler-Moreno for the state meet in the very first meet of the 2023 season, which is definitely impressive. She also broke her old school record by over a second as well.

The Jayettes will look ahead to an Indianola team tonight who is currently 0-1 after dropping their first meet of the season last Tuesday night against Southeast Polk 128-42. They will look to bounce back against Perry. The meet will begin at 5:30 at the Indianola YMCA.
