The Perry Public Works Department has been busy this summer.

Director Josh Wuebker says that they have been doing a lot of concrete work around town. He says their main goal over the summer was to fix roads that had a dip or potholes. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the concrete work was much needed for Perry.

“It’s going to be needed for the next 20 years. That’s a job security right there. You know, concrete. It gets old and it busts and everything. So if we can just knock out some areas and keep after it and stuff, I think the residents will notice some smoother roads around town.”

Wuebker also praises his workers for working hard and for their dedication to the City of Perry.
