More than 2,500 cyclists are expected to make their way into Perry in two less than a month for the inaugural BACooN Ride.
The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce has set a goal of being the big party spot that everyone on the ride looks forward to. In order to do that, Executive Director Bob Wilson says it will take an all-hands-on-deck community approach.
“This is a crazy event. It’s going to be a lot of people, great exposure for Perry. The Crooked Rail, The Kick Stand, The Hotel Pattee, again the Carnegie Library is going to be heavily involved, the Nudgers are going to be involved, our local bike coalition TRIBBE is going to throw some stuff together. This is an all out community event, so show them a good time” says Wilson.
Riders are expected to arrive in Perry between 1 and 5pm on Saturday, June 28th.
Registration is still open but prices increase on June 1st. You can sign up for $55 HERE.
