The Perry Elementary School will ask the public to join for a back-to-school night event. 

They will have an open house from 4 to 5:30pm on Monday at the school for all first through fifth graders. Principal Ryan Marzen says the mission of the open house is for students to meet their teacher, and get accumulated to their new classroom. Marzen says that this event gets the students excited about going back to school. 

“Back to school night is one of the most special nights we have here at Perry Elementary School. Kids are so excited to come back with their new backpack, all their school supplies. It’s awesome to be able to see a lot of those students be able to hug their former teachers and then get really excited for their new teachers.”

Additionally, the Perry Middle School will have their 6th Grade Blue Jay Camp from 4 to 5:30pm, and the high school will have freshman orientation from 1 to 3pm on Tuesday, August 22nd.
