Thursday, August 17th

2:10am: An officer located an Open Door and secured the facility at 1002 North Cedar Street.

9:56am: Stephanie Wiskus reported a deceased cat in the roadway in the 400 Block of West State Street. The officer removed and disposed of the carcass.

11:15am: Desire Edwards called and advised she was out of town and had received a call advising someone was in her apartment at 306 West Lincoln Way Street. She requested an officer to check on her apartment. The officer found the apartment to be secure and found no signs of anyone being there.

11:47am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 100 Block of West Washington Street.

3:50pm: Emily Hayes requested a Welfare Check on a female, who appeared to be asleep in a vehicle parked in the 100 Block of North Wilson Ave. The officer spoke to the subject, who had fallen asleep while waiting on a friend. No assistance was needed.

7:38pm: Felisha Nelson reported her puppy had gotten away from 407 East State Street. The officer checked the area, but did not locate the pup.
