Monday, August 14th

7:44am: Fareway reported a Short Charge Artist struck the store at 1207 North Elm Street. The subject walked out with $160.00. The officer is investigating.

9:50am: David Cunningham requested a Welfare Check on a male subject in the 100 Block of East Adams Street. Officers made contact with the subject, who was transported to ER for an Evaluation.

1:40pm: Kristina Thompson Mullen requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 400 Block of Brackett Street. The officer checked on the subject, who was fine.

5:37pm: Trisha Gardner requested a Welfare Check on a worker in Jefferson. The officer made contact with the subject and learned she was fine.

7:22pm: Jessica Helrichs reported damage to her fence at 605 West State Street. It appeared that a vehicle had struck the fence, causing damage. The officer has no suspects in the matter.

8:16pm: A Traffic Stop in the 400 Block of East Lincoln Way Street resulted in Nyariek Thoan of Des Moines being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

10:46pm: A Traffic Stop at Grimmell and Central resulted in Elisha Ward of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”

Tuesday, August 15th

12:50am: An officer located an Open Door and secured the building at 2204 North Mulberry Street.

12:20pm: The Wild Rose casino reported a patron had caught a Stray Dog at 777 Wild Rose Lane. The officer placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.

6:54pm: A Traffic Stop in the 700 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Maureen Schulz of Carroll being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

8:01pm: Jordan Sloan reported a deceased cat in the roadway near Washington and Elm Streets. The officer did not locate the reported animal.

8:33pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Washington Streets resulted in Laura Dawson of Farnhamville being cited for, “Fail to Obey Stop Sign.”

11:05pm: An officer reminded a small group of juveniles of the time the park closes at Daubendiek Park. The subjects left the area.
