Friday, August 11th
9:14am: The Sheriff attempted to find and catch a dog running at large in the 500 block of South 11th Street, Grand Junction. The owner was found and placed the dog back in the house.
9:41am: The Sheriff assisted with a bad check complaint in the 800 block of Fitzpatrick Street, Churdan.
3:17pm: The Sheriff investigated a driving complaint on 220 th Street near R Avenue.
6:21pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of people shooting at Pounds Pit on U Avenue.
9:35pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person on 235th Street just east of Jefferson.
9:40pm: Cody Husar 20 of Churdan was booked into the jail for use of a dangerous weapon in the commission of a crime and possession of alcohol by a person 18,19,20 2nd offense.
Saturday, August 12th
1:14am: A deputy investigated a report of a loud noise in the 100 block of 330th Street.
12:23pm: A deputy investigated a parking complaint in the 900 block of Grant Street, Scranton.
3:24pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on 235th Street near the airport.
4:01pm: A deputy assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with locating a vehicle in Grand Junction that was involved in a hit and run accident in Boxholm.
6:30pm: Coleman Marlow Jr. 41 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for harassment 1st degree.
7:19pm: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 600 block of 13th Street, Grand Junction.
Sunday, August 13th
2:17am: A deputy investigated a probation violation in the 700 block of Walnut Street, Grand Junction.
2:43am: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 1000 block of State Street, Scranton.
9:30am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on J Avenue near 200th Street.
11:21am: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of North Grimmell Road, Jefferson.
12:11pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 1200 block of South Main Street, Scranton.
8:45pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near U Avenue.
9:21pm: A deputy attempted to locate a dog running at large near 330th Street and Neola Avenue.
11:15pm: A deputy investigated a single vehicle rollover accident on W Avenue near 210th Street. Madilyn Van Pelt 20 of Grand Junction lost control of a 2020 Ford Explorer. The vehicle rolled into the west ditch totaling the vehicle. There were no injuries and no citations issued.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
