Wednesday, August 9th

6:12am: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with an Overdose in the 500 Block of South Chestnut Street. During the call, officers noticed drug related items in plain view in the residence. The officers secured a Search Warrant for the residence. The officers were assisted by deputies in executing the warrant. Suspected fentanyl, marijuana, and paraphernalia items were seized for testing. Charges are pending lab results.

12:00pm: Jade Nunez reported a subject harassing her juvenile daughter at 901 West State Street. The officer spoke to the subject involved and explained the mother does not want them to have contact with her daughter.

12:19pm: Oly’s Corner reported a $35.00 Gas Drive Off from 208 West Lincoln Way Street. The subject returned later and paid for the fuel.

4:12pm: Jody Grimsley reported the Theft of Tools from a shed at 901 West Lincoln Way Street. No forced entry to the shed was located by the officer. The incident remains under investigation.

8:57pm: A caller advised of a juvenile male attempting to enter a residence at 705 Pinet Place, through a window. The officer learned the juvenile was attempting to Prank his friend, who lives at the residence.

10:50pm: An officer was advised of a possible Suicidal Subject in the 700 Block of East Adams Street. The officer located the subject and transported them to ER to be evaluated by a medical doctor.
