This past weekend Senior Pitcher Luke Greth and ADM Baseball coach Jason Book had the honor of being selected to participate in the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Series Merchants Park in Carroll and were on Small School West team where they played in three games within three days and where many new friendships were made. Small Teams west went 3-0 taking bringing home a Series Championship. In Game one, Small School west defeated Large Schools West 4-3, Senior Pitcher Luke Greth pitched four solid innings while giving up 3 hits, issued two walk while striking out two Large School West batters on the night, and also being the winning pitcher in game one. In game two, Small School West defeated Large School East 4-3, Luke Greth did get only a stolen base in game twos win. In game three, between both teams they scored a total of nineteen run but Smalls School West defeated Small School East 10-9 and look got witness this third and final win in this All-Star series.  This is what ADM Baseball Coach Jason had to say about Luke Greth pitching performance in Game one. “Luke threw against Large School West, threw four solid innings for us in a seven inning game, gave up three hits, one run, two strikeouts. “Thats a pretty good day against a Large School West lineup, they have a lot of great players on that team.”

Luke Greth will now be moving onto his college career and will be going to college at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls this fall and will also be playing baseball. Luke Greth will be on the Raccoon Valley Bank Dallas County PM Sports on KDLS on Monday August 6th to talk about his experience on being selected to the Small Team West
