Last year Stuart played host to RVTV on the Thursday before the Iowa State University Cyclones and Iowa Hawkeyes game, and this year the Chamber of Commerce is looking to build off that.

After all the fun and festivities that were had last year, some members of the Chamber decided to host their own event to try and keep the competitive spirit strong in the town. The Gridiron Gatherin’ will be hosted on that Thursday before the game, but there are still several things to finish planning and preparing.

The group in charge of planning will next meet tonight at 6pm. Some things that are already set up are live music from the Craig Swalwell Band, food trucks, retail vendors, a bags tournament and a kid zone that includes inflatables and superheros.
