The Jamaica Library has a few fun events coming up.

Tomorrow Guthrie County Veterans Affairs Coordinator Beth Watson will be at the library for a coffee chat, and some different resources she would like to show veterans for them to learn about and possibly utilize. Next week the library will have its third annual used book sale as part of the Highway 141 Garage Sales. The sale will be at the Shelter House at the Jamaica City Park on Main Street from 9am to 3pm August 4th.

The annual Highway 141 Garage Sales occur in communities along the highway from Grimes westward to the Missouri River border. The items the library has available in their sale will be quality used hardback books and an assortment of CD’s and paperback books.
