This is Day 3 of my overlook of key players that helped this years West Central Valley softball team finish their year 12-8 in the West Central Valley standings and 20-12 overall. The two players that I will be looking at today are Zoey Dickson and Kamryn Nourse. Starting with Zoey Dickson, Dickson was a junior for the Wildcats this year and she had a pretty stellar season as she ended the season with a .433 batting average. She had one of the higher on base percentages for the Wildcats as well on the year as that number reached .479 at the end of the year as well. As the .433 average explains, she was lights out from the plate as she had 45 hits on the year to go along with 26 singles and 13 doubles as well as 4 dingers on the season with 39 RBIs recorded. Dickson will be a key piece for this West Central Valley softball team come next year as she will be going into her senior season with the Wildcats.
Kamryn Nourse was another one of the 5 seniors that are graduating from this year’s West Central Valley team. Her senior season was nothing short of spectacular. She had a .434 batting average and .469 on base percentage. She had 46 hits total on the year with 36 singles, 9 doubles, and a triple. To go along with those numbers, she also finished the year with 33 RBI’s. Her production will certainly be missed on the offensive side of the plate for the West Central Valley Wildcats come 2024. Stay tuned tommorow as I continue my player outlook on K107.9 FM and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
