The City of Perry has named Marco Perla as the new Recreation Coordinator for the Perry Parks and Recreation Department.

Perla is a Perry native and a graduate of Perry High School and holds a degree from Iowa State University in Community and Regional Planning. Perla has been an intern and part-time employee for the Parks and Recreation Department and recently completed an internship with the Ankeny Parks and Recreation Department.

In his new position, Perla will be responsible for the planning, organizing, and implementation of successful recreation and fitness programs.
