This is Family Week as far as Iowa high school athletics is concerned, meaning there is no use of school facilities and no contact between coaches and athletes. The 2023-24 Sports year officially starts on August 7 with Fall Sports practices, but Camps may be held next week.

Greene County will hold high school football camp July 31, August 1, 2, 3, and the camp for middle schoolers will be on Aug. 3. Head coach Caden Duncan told Raccoon Valley Radio there is a fee for middle school attendees and the football and middle school Facebook pages have registration details. He added that middle school camp walk-ins will be accepted, but only those that register in advance will get a Camp t-shirt.
