We continue to follow season statistics for AC/GC Chargers baseball and softball players. For the baseball team, incoming freshman Colton Clark started in 2 of the 10 games he played, chalking up 9 at bats for 1 run, 1 hit that was a single, 1 RBI and a sacrifice fly. He was hit by pitch 3 times, reached on error once and struck out 7 times for 1 total base, and recorded a batting average of .111, an on base percentage of .308 and a slugging percentage of .111.
In fielding stats Clark collected 4 assists, 1 putout and 1 error for 6 total chances and a fielding percentage of .833. He pitched 5 games, throwing 189 pitches in 8.1 innings to 35 batters for an opposing batting average of .371. Clark allowed 13 hits, 17 runs of which 13 were earned, walked 8, hit 10, allowed 3 sacrifice bunts and a sacrifice fly for a 10.92 ERA and 2.52 walks and hits per inning pitched.
For the softball team, senior Audrey Franzeen started and played in 23 games, recording 39 at bats for 6 runs, 4 hits, 3 singles, 1 double and 6 RBI’s. She was walked 9 times, hit by pitch twice, reached on error 5 times and was struck out 14 times for 5 total bases, and a batting average of .103, an on base percentage of .300 and a slugging percentage of .128. Franzeen succeeded in stealing a base on her sole attempt on the season, and tallied 26 putouts and 6 errors for 32 total chances and a fielding percentage of .812.
