Buena Vista University head volleyball coach Will Bauman was the featured clinician at the Greene County volleyball camp held July 21 at the high school. The high school session was in the morning with seventh and eighth graders attending in the afternoon. Greene County head volleyball coach Chris Heistercamp put the camp together.

Bauman arrived at BVU in 2022 and the Beavers finished third in the American Rivers Conference and appeared in the conference tournament finals. His high school coaching resume’ includes seven State Tournaments and five straight State Class 1A Championships at Tripoli, a State title in 3A at Nevada, a State semifinals appearance in 1A at Galva-Holstein. He also coached at Cherokee Washington High School and Clarinda. Prior to accepting the BVU head coaching position, he established “Champions Approach,” where he delivered instructional camps throughout the state of Iowa working with coaches and athletes to optimize their potential.
