Wendell Sheriff, age 88, of Greenfield passed away on Tuesday July 11, 2023 at the Caring Acres Nursing and Rehab Center in Anita.

Open visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield. Online condolences Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.

Family visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.  A private family burial will be held at a later date in the Greenfield Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Wendell Sheriff Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Wendell is survived by his daughter, Susanne Sheriff and fiancé Arvell Sherrard of Greenfield; son, Jim Sheriff (Misty Fitzgerald) of Greenfield; two grandchildren, Alexis and Trenten; brother, Bruce Sheriff and wife Gerry of Greenfield; sister-in-law, Eileen Sheriff of Greenfield; brother-in-law, Don Folk of Cedar Rapids; other relatives and friends.
