With the season in the books for both West Central Valley baseball and softball teams, it’s time to look ahead at the seniors that both squads will be losing going into the 2024 season. Starting with the Wildcats baseball team, they will be losing 6 seniors total going into 2024. Those seniors are Adrielle Mendoza, Keadon Lindsay, Braiden Beane, Blaise Beane, Ayden Phippen, and Logan Jones. These 6 have been big parts of the West Central Valley Wildcats this past year and will be missed next year. Keadon Lindsay, Braiden Beane, and Blaise Beane specifically have had phenomenal seasons for the Wildcats. Keadon Lindsay finished the year hitting .378 on the season with an on-base percentage of .504 on the season, along with 24 RBI’s on the season. Braiden Beane finished the year hitting .299, along with a .406 on base percentage and 21 RBI’s. Lastly, Blaise Beane, who finished the year hitting .222 with a .402 on-base percentage, with also 18 RBI’s. Congrats to all seniors on the baseball team and best of luck for what’s to come.
For the softball team, they will be losing 5 total seniors. Those are Tasha Williams, Kinsey Alt, Marissa Hagen, Bethany Speichinger, and Kamryn Nourse. It was a great season for all of these girls, helping out the softball team on a great run this year. Marissa Hagen and Kamryn Nourse specifically were big parts of the Wildcats season. Marissa Hagen had 114 strikeouts, a team high this season, in 166 innings pitched. She was the workhorse on the mound for West Central Valley all year long. Kamryn Nourse also hit .434 this season along with a .469 on-base percentage. Congratulations to all seniors on the softball team as well, you will definitely be missed.
