The Perry School Board  met on Monday. 

The Board approved a change in price for their food service program including a .20 cent increase to the elementary lunch from $2.75 to $2.90, a 10 cent increase to the middle and high school lunch from $3 to $3.10 and they approved a .70 cent increase to the adult lunch from $4.15 to $4.85. The Board then approved the free breakfast meals for each student in the year of 2023-24, increat to the  stipend and memorandum of understanding for administrative assistants, $2,000 stipends and memorandum of understanding for licensed bus drivers and $500 stipend for bus driver referrals. 

They also approved the appointment of Kent Bultment for the 2023-24 Board Secretary and Board Treasurer, Raccoon Valley Bank will be the school district’s bank depository, Miram Van Heukelem from Ahler and Cooney Law Firm will be the district’s legal counsel. The Board approved the appointments of Mel Raskie and Eric Vaughn as the student abuse by school employee investigators, Angelica Cardenas-Diaz as the district’s equity and opportunity and homeless coordinator and affirmative action officer, Clark Wicks and Kevin Vidergar as Title IX Coordinators and Laura Skeel was appointed at the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator.
