The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is set with some fun new and regular events this week.

They start off by having Absolute Science visit Monday night for their Mega Foam Party from 4-5:30pm to end the summer reading program. There will be free Casey’s pizza to snack on that Casey’s General Store donated, and those that were part of the summer reading program will be entered into drawings for a chance at some prizes. Then on Tuesday the Between the Covers Book Club holds their monthly meeting at 3pm to discuss their current read, “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” by Taylor Reid.

Wednesday will be the first Lunch and Learn for the library, where those in attendance will be able to learn more about safety from bank scams and frauds from Guthrie County State Bank and Shazam over the noon to 1pm lunch hour. To end the week, on Friday the Story Hour will be from 10-10:30am, and focus on fairy tales while also including a troll coloring craft.
