The Dallas Center-Grimes baseball team will step foot on the diamond for their final regular season game tonight.

The Mustangs are coming off a stellar performance against Oskaloosa and are currently on a nine game winning streak, but will have to face the Ankeny Hawks on the road out of the Central Iowa Metro League. Ankeny comes into this matchup tonight trying to stay above .500 with a (19-18) record and are on a one game losing streak. The Hawks are receiving votes to be in the Class 4a Iowa High School Coach’s Association Rankings.

Dallas Center-Grimes already knows their opponent for the postseason, but a victory over Ankeny could boost their ranking as they currently sit in 8th in the Iowa High School Coach’s Association Rankings with a (26-6).
