6:25am: A deputy located a missing stop sign on 150th Street and A Avenue.

10:45am: The Sheriff and deputies assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a barricaded subject in the 500 block of 2nd Street, Boxholm. Matthew Bair 35 of Ogden was arrested and taken to the Boone County Jail.

10:31am: A deputy investigated a fireworks complaint in the 1100 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.

11:03pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of N Avenue.

Tuesday, July 4th

6:27pm: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 1600 block of L Avenue.

7:31pm: A deputy investigated a fireworks complaint in the 800 block of Fitzpatrick Street, Churdan.

7:55pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on Redwood Avenue near 283rd Street.

9:06pm: A deputy and the Jefferson Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 1200 block of Orchard Avenue. A 2000 GMC Sierra was a total loss in the fire. The suspected cause of the fire is fireworks debris and trash that was placed in the back of the truck.

11:19pm: A deputy investigated a fireworks complaint near the intersection of Grant and High Street, Scranton.

11:59pm: A deputy investigated a civil dispute in the 900 block of Cedar Street, Scranton.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
