Midwest Partnership is reminding groups and organizations in Adair and Guthrie Counties about different funding sources.
In their recent newsletter, Midwest Partnership named eight new grants that can be applied for. There’s the Rural Innovation Grant, which supports creative and non-traditional ideas aimed at current issues rural communities are facing that can be associated with themes of community investment and connection, while the Rural Enrichment Grant supports replication and the spread of solutions that address current issues faced in rural communities.
There is also the Rural Enrichment Grant which supports small quality of life projects, and the Rural Housing Assessment Grant, which supports use of publicly available and online information through a tool called “Profile Iowa” to help implement changes through developmental codes, housing incentives and local ordinances.
The other grants available to organizations and groups to apply for include the Rural Child Care Market Study Grant, Rural Leadership Bootcamp Grant, BOOST Grant and Empower Rural Iowa Broadband Grant Program. For more information on these grants, or for any other questions, Midwest Partnership can be contacted by one of the means listed in this story online.
