The Wills Family Orchard will allow tourism to their farm with an upcoming event.
Maury and Mary Wills will host the event called “Agritourism and Orcharding With an Ecological Focus at Wills Family Orchard,” from 10am until noon on July 14th at their farm on Panther Creek in Adel. The Wills Family Orchard draws 7,000 customers annually with their five acres of organic apples, two acres of conventional apples, one acre of organic peaches, sorghum-sudan grass maze and more. Attendees will learn about their on-farm apple processing facility, organic peach production, conventional light apple production and their Diverse agritourism enterprises. This event will be free, but registration will be required. Apple cider donuts and light refreshments will be served.
