A reminder that tonight Jefferson and surrounding residents can celebrate Independence Day with a free fireworks show.

A fireworks display will be outside of the Wild Rose Casino and Resort facility in Jefferson. Wild Rose Jefferson General Manager Travis Dvorak encourages everyone to use their parking lot for free to watch the fireworks from J&M Displays. Attendees can bring lawn chairs and sit in the grassy areas. The lights in the parking lot and inside the hallway of the casino will be shut off for better viewing.

The fireworks will begin at dusk, about 9:30pm and it is free and open to the public. The city of Jefferson and Wild Rose Jefferson are co-sponsors of this event.
