6:15am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on N Avenue near 140th Street.

11:35am: Valerie Heater 37 of Eagle Grove was booked into the jail for failure to appear.

12:19pm: A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident on 220th Street near U Avenue. Damian Davidson 31 of Odgen was traveling east on 220th in a 2022 Ford F350. Marvin Paul 25 of Boone pulled out in front of Davidson in a 2020 Toyota Corolla. The estimated damage to the Ford F350 was 700 dollars. The estimated damage to the Toyota Corolla was 1,200 dollars. Marvin Paul was cited for failure to yield right of way.

2:51pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of two dogs running at large in and around Scranton.

3:27pm: The Sheriff investigated a 911 hang up in Rippey.

5:03pm: A deputy investigated an open 911 call in the 1700 block of 235th Street.

6:00pm: Kim Garcia 53 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for simple assault.

7:47pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on U Avenue near Rippey.

7:57pm: A deputy investigated a theft of a vehicle in the 900 block of Parkland Avenue that was later found in Fort Dodge.

9:53pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police with an arrest in the 700 block of Wild Rose Drive. Leeroy Steadman 54 of Grand Junction was arrested for public intoxication.

10:25pm: Leeroy Steadman 54 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for public intoxication.

11:00pm: A deputy investigated a fireworks complaint in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

Saturday, July 1st

12:39am: A deputy and Grand Junction Fire responded to a structure fire in the 900 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction. The house had fire and water damage.

2:18am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a medical call in the 300 block of South Walnut Street.

1:30pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of Madison Street, Scranton.

1:55pm: Joshua Johnson 41 of Bagley was booked into the jail for driving while barred.

3:58pm: A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident on Neola Avenue near 300th Street. Daniel West 60 of Yale was driving a 1996 Dodge Ram heading South on Neola Avenue. Paige Lansman 48 of Churdan was driving a 2019 for Escape. Lansman pulled out from a driveway and struck West in the passenger side. The estimated damage each vehicle was 2,500 dollars each. Lansman was cited for failure to yield. West was cited for failure to prove financial liability.

5:39pm: A deputy assisted with a cow out on N Avenue near 210th Street.

5:47pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway in the 1100 block of N Avenue.

9:44pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person on 220th Street near X Avenue.

10:03pm: A deputy investigated a fireworks complaint in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

11:23pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a fight in the 1000 block of West Lincoln Way. Nathaniel Harvick 20 of Des Moines was arrested for public intoxication, possession of alcohol under age, and disorderly conduct.

Sunday, July 2nd

2:20am: Nathaniel Harvick 20 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for public intoxication, possession of alcohol under age, and disorderly conduct.

2:26am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a domestic in the 300 block of West Reed Street.

10:10am: Andrew Jensen 40 homeless was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance 2nd or subsequent offense.

6:06pm: A deputy investigated an open 911 call in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
