Dallas Center-Grimes softball falls in both their games at the Mustangs Softball Classic on Friday.

The Mustangs lost their first game in the tournament to the Urbandale Jayhawks by a final score of 5 to 4. The game was tied after a three run bottom of the fifth inning from the Mustangs, but Urbandale’s run in the top of the seventh won the game.

The schedule didn’t get any easier as they then fell to the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars by a final score of 6 to 1. Dallas Center-Grimes surrendered three runs to Ankeny Centennial in the first inning and then added runs in the third and sixth innings.

Dallas Center-Grimes softball now has a record of (27-10) and will conclude their regular season in Oskaloosa on Monday.
