With the 4th of July holiday upon us, there are some things residents in Stuart, Panora and Guthrie Center should remember about fireworks.

In Stuart, fireworks are allowed only on private property between June 1st and July 8th between the hours of 9am and 10pm, except for July 4th and the Saturdays and Sundays immediately preceding and following the 4th, when they are allowed between the hours of 9am and 11pm. Fireworks are not permitted in the city limits of Panora or Guthrie Center.
