The Adel Parks and Recreation Department has postponed one of their highly anticipated events for another date. 

Due to the predicted forecast of rain and thunderstorms the Adel Kids Power Wheels Nationals will be rescheduled for August 5th. Registration will open back up for any parent or guardian who has a child that is between the ages of two and seven-years-old

There will be different divisions including the limited pro stock class for two to four-year-olds, pro stock and outlaw classes for ages five to seven and then there will be a demo derby limited and pro.  

Adel Parks and Rec encourages people to bring their own power wheel vehicle, but they will have community power wheels for use at this event. The race is free and all children that register receive a free t-shirt.
