Urbandale defeated Perry 8-2 in high school softball Tuesday night at the PAC. The J-Hawks scored a pair of runs in the first inning but put the game away in the fourth with five more runs.  Urbandale finished with 12 hits as Bri Tigges led the way with three hits and a couple of RBI’s.

Perry was led by Emmalee Bell who had two of Perry’s four hits.  Bell finished with two RBI’s.  Lydia Olejniczak and Maci Tunink scored the Perry runs.

Urbandale improves to 9-19 while Perry falls to 8-10 and will look to snap their current five game losing skid tonight at home against powerhouse Greene County.  The Rams currently share the top spot in the conference with Saydel and have won nine of their last ten games.  You can listen to the game tonight at raccoonvalleyradio.com and KGRA starting at 7:15.
